**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to emergency calls within the hospital premises, including patient rooms, common areas, and specialized care units.
- Assess and stabilize elderly patients in critical conditions, including those experiencing cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, falls, and other medical emergencies.

**Medical Assessment and Intervention**:

- Conduct rapid patient assessments to identify medical conditions and administer appropriate first aid treatments.
- Monitor vital signs and response to treatment, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure patient stability.
- Administer oxygen, perform CPR, and utilize automated external defibrillators (AEDs) when required.

**Patient Transportation**:

- Safely transfer elderly patients to and from various hospital departments, diagnostic areas, and external medical facilities.
- Ensure proper securing of patients during transportation to prevent further injury or discomfort.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and physicians to facilitate smooth transitions and continuity of care.

**Documentation and Communication**:

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, interventions, and transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, providing concise updates on patient status and response to treatment.
- Collaborate with emergency dispatch services and external medical providers to facilitate seamless patient care transitions.

**Equipment Maintenance and Compliance**:

- Regularly inspect and maintain medical equipment, including ambulances, stretchers, and emergency supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, infection control protocols, and hospital policies related to emergency medical services.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification: Valid certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at the appropriate level (e.g., EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT-Paramedic).
- Experience: Previous experience in emergency medical services, preferably in a hospital or geriatric care setting, is highly desirable.
- Geriatric Care Skills: Understanding of age-related medical conditions, cognitive impairments, and mobility challenges commonly observed in elderly patients.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, to ensure 24/7 coverage of emergency medical services.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
