Production Technologist

**Department Responsibility**
- Incoming inspection of inward material (Round bars & brought out items at Stores).
- Review and ensuring correctness of all pre-dispatch documents to avoid potential customer complaint (PDC Process).
- Daily in process inspection from bar surface inspection to final release of product that includes HF, CF (Open Annealed), TM21 & TM22.
- Inform to superior for any process parameters not followed in shop floor
- Inform to concern stake holders if any process / product quality does not meet with customer / specification requirements
- Support in calibration activities
- Support in in-process trials & qualification trials
- Distribution of QAP, Procedures, Work instructions and monthly graph’s hard copies at shop floor
- Calculate daily rejection of HF & CF and information share to concern stakeholders
- Ensuring the safety and 5S within work area as per company guidelines.

Flexibility in below activities
- Daily heat treatment records verification

**EHS Responsibility**
- Follow EHS guidelines and procedures, reporting hazards and potential improvement areas and participating to improve their work environment.
- Work according to Alleima’s Safety Principles towards the vision of zero harm

Authority & Accountability

**Authority**:

- Hold / reject the inward items if not meeting the acceptance criteria.
- Stop any processes if product quality not meets with customer / specification requirements.
- Hold the product dispatches if customer requirements are not fulfilled.

**Accountability**:

- To fulfil the customer requirements

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- _ Data and drawing interpretation skills_
- _ Communication Skills_
- _ Fair knowledge about tube manufacturing and related product requirements_
- _ Knowledge about material and its standards for steel / tube product_
- _ MS Office proficiency_
