**About Us**:

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for water infrastructure projects.
- Research potential suppliers and obtain quotes and proposals.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the procurement team to develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost savings and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and project management, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with project requirements.
- Assist in resolving procurement-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement to continuously improve processes and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus.
