**A purpose driven role for you**
- Looking for a detail-oriented Site Designer to join our EV charging infrastructure team. The Site Designer will be responsible for developing detailed layouts and site plans for EV charging stations, ensuring optimal placement, efficient design, and compliance with local regulations. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders to deliver technically sound and aesthetically pleasing charging stations.

**A Day in the life**
- Create detailed site designs for EV charging stations, including layout plans, electrical schematics, and civil infrastructure considerations.
- Conduct on-site surveys to assess space availability, environmental factors, and site feasibility.
- Develop 2D and 3D models, using CAD software, of EV charging station layouts to meet project and client requirements.
- Collaborate with electrical, civil, and mechanical engineers to ensure that site designs are practical and can be implemented within the given constraints.
- Design site infrastructure that accounts for power supply, charging equipment placement, vehicle access, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, ADA accessibility requirements, and other relevant standards.
- Coordinate with utility companies, regulatory bodies, and permitting authorities for site approvals.
- Integrate design considerations for electrical grid connections, power management systems, and potential renewable energy integration.
- Assist in the development of construction documentation, including site layout, equipment placement, trenching, and cabling plans.
- Review and modify site designs as required to address technical challenges or regulatory feedback.
- Provide support during construction and installation phases to ensure design integrity is maintained.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and regulations in the EV charging infrastructure space.

**Academic Qualification & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or a related field;
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in site design;

**Technical Skills/Knowledge**
- Exposure and basic understanding of electrical engineering and charging components;
Knowledge of civil engineering and site preparation processes;
- Automobiles OEMs / Charging infrastructure companies
