**Job description**

**Role & responsibilities** Medical Coordinator

To ensure that all the services are provided as per the guidelines and protocols defined by the organization and within the framework of medical ethics

To ensure admission and discharge process are as per the pre-defined TAT

To ensure the accuracy of discharge summaries

To take a daily administrative round and meet patients and address their grievances, if any

To ensure daily counselling of patient relatives regarding medical condition of the patient

To ensure proper interpersonal and interdepartmental communication for smooth functioning

To ensure coordination with other departments for bed management and to ensure optimum bed utilisation

To ensure optimum OPD utilization

To monitor booking, rescheduling, cancellations and the optimum utilisation of OT

To monitor the ALOS and liaison with consultants and operational heads on long stay

To ensure proper documentation and storage of medical records

To ensure medico legal compliances are met as per the standard

To organize and co-ordinate CMEs in coordination with the marketing department

Actively participate in recruitment of junior doctors and consultants

To impart departmental induction to all new joiners

To supervise the functioning of junior doctors and consultants. To sanction their leaves and ensure that theirlocum is arranged as per timeline

To ensure utmost level of discipline among the members of the medical team

To ensure that all members of the medical team participate in the on-going clinical training sessions

To manage and resolve conflicts between patients, staff and Consultants

To ensure optimum manpower ratio and optimum manpower utilization

To identify training needs and conduct performance reviews

To participate in the confirmation and performance appraisal process of the medical team To carry out any other

To ensure the medical delivery is as per the standards defined by the organization

BAMS/ BHMS

Min 5 years relevant experience is must

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
