Jr. Automation Tester

**Role -** Jr. Automation Tester
**Experience -** 6 months to 2 years
**Location -** Mumbai

**Job Description -**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new releases.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on software design and potential issues.
- Continuously improve testing processes and automation frameworks.
- Generate test reports and provide clear and concise feedback to the development team.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software testing and automation.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 6 months to 2 years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on automation.
- Proficiency in using automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing test scripts.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- ISTQB or other relevant certification in software testing.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
