**Requirements**:

- Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Bachelor’s Degree with Master’s degree in transport planning / economics).
- Working experience (4+ years) in Transport Planning softwares like VISUM, SATURN, DIADEM, EMME, VISSIM, LINSIG, JUNCTIONS9, Paramics, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, TUBA, COBA-LT and AMAT assessment.
- Experience and knowledge of Strategic Modelling, Operational Modelling, transport / economic appraisal techniques and guidance including economic cost-benefit analysis.
- Knowledge of the technical transport planning environment.
- Strong numerate and analytical abilities, including high degree of competence in MS Excel
- Ability to work in a team as part of a wider project.
- Some understanding of how appraisal and business case requirements should match client needs and support scheme development.
- Good written communication skills.
- Be able to work Individually.
- Be able to guide/mentor the junior staff.

- Knowledge and experience of UK appraisal and business case guidance and approaches.
- Experience in the use of analytical and research tools such as GIS and the use of databases.
- An appreciation of the transport industry and related policy context.
- Professional membership of a relevant institution.
- Experience in programming skills like Python, PowerBI, Excel-VBA and R.
