**Company profile**: For one of our clients active in the financial industry we are looking for a Credit Administrator.
**Job description**:
As a credit administrator, your responsibility will be to maximize collection recoveries on assigned retail accounts while lowering collection costs and loan losses.
**Core accountabilities**:
- Conduct regular, timely, and productive collection efforts by phone, mail, or other suitable channels.
- To guarantee payment transactions, request forced payments and promptly ban accounts.
- Making relevant policy and process adjustments to optimize the recovery of outstanding accounts.
- Expected to propose innovative ways for a client to pay off his debts.
- Reviewing the credit history and reasons for delinquency of past-due accounts and updating the system.
- Recommend account reorganization or consolidation.
- Acquiring and sustaining a comprehensive understanding of retail lending products and services, as well as the policies and procedures required to respond appropriately to consumer needs.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of the unit's operational procedures and systems, as well as ensuring that these policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
**Job requierments**:
- Completed MBO education.
- At least 3-5 years of customer service and collection experience.
- Thorough understanding of local regulatory KYC/ALM regulations and processes.
- Excellent analytical and negotiating abilities to plan and propose options to clients.
- Organizational and motivating abilities, as well as the ability to prioritize and navigate with a wide range of daily responsibilities.
- Advanced Word and Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral in English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamentu.
