**Profile Summary**:
**Title**:Academic Coordinator

**Reporting to**:Academic Director

**Roles**:
Academic (40%):

- Reviewing lesson plans and assessments designed by the teacher.
- Assessing the need and facilitating training sessions for the teachers.

Administrative (15%):

- Work with the Directors in design and implementing the school Annual calendar.
- Coordinating with the teachers in conducting Primary/Pre-Primary level and School level events.
- Revising the daily timetable on a need basis.

Team Management (20%):

- Manage a team of 15-20 teachers, on their deliverables and professional support and development
- Design and lead team structures to sustain a culture of collaboration, strong accountability and timely project delivery
- Assist the school in recruitment and selection of right team members

Stakeholder Management (5%):

- Overseeing the design of the parent engagement plan for the year.
- Interaction with parents as needed to give feedback about the students and complaints resolution.

Monitoring & Evaluation (20%):

- Overseeing collection and analysis of students data, and generating quarterly progress reports.
- Ensuring documentation and collection of effective plans/other resources from teachers.

**Experience**:

- 2-5 years of teaching experience in primary/Secondary school.
- Experience in handling a team of 10 teachers (preferred)

Knowledge/Skills:

- Strong understanding of pedagogical practices.
- Ability to set and drive the School vision.
- Ability to assign tasks, manage and build rapport with school staff and team.
- Organizational and time management skills
- Highly motivated, persevering, problem-solving and achievement-orientation attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility in planning and working with a team.
- Fluency in English, Hindi/Telugu.

Technical skills:

- Good understanding of computers and MS Office.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree.
- B.Ed or M.Ed or MA in Education (preferred)

Remuneration: 3-4.8 LPA (based on the experience and selection process)
