Qualification: ANM/GNM

Experience: 1 year and above

Location: Kadavantra

Job Responsibilities:
1. Receive the information from IP billing department

2. Take care of all the requirements of the particular ward

3. Get the patient’s bed ready

4. Receive the patient for admission

5. Check the TPR(Temperature, Pulse & Respiration) & BP of patient and update EMR

6. Check the Doctors order/instructions

7. Making necessary arrangements for ordered investigations, special consultations. Nurses should be informing consultant doctors.

8. Counseling the patients

9. Identify and recording patient’s response to medication when necessary

10. Accompanying the Physician during ward rounds

11. Check the medicine taken by the patient at pre-operative stage

12. Frequent monitoring of the patient’s condition and updating EMR

13. Check the post operative BP & TPR and inform anesthetist

14. Give post-operative instructions to the patients at time of discharge

15. Shifting of patient from Recovery ICU to Ward

16. Take the patient’s X-rays and other scans as per EMR

17. Following the sterile techniques procedures

18. Providing wheel chair to the vulnerable patients in case of necessity

19. Arranging dressing materials for autoclaving purpose

20. Ensuring emergency trolley/crash cart is available at all times

21. 3rd floor Stock medicines inventory should be maintaining

22. On night duties op should be arranged before 7.30 am

23. Monthly LEPI to be updated in the system daily

24. Follow strict infection control practices
