We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Back Office Assistant in our chemical supply and distribution company in India. As a Back Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the company's back-office operations. Your role will involve handling various tasks related to documentation, customer support, inventory management, and coordination with different departments.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to sales, purchases, invoices, and shipments.
- Process sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices using the company's software systems.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any order-related issues.
- Handle incoming customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service by addressing their concerns and resolving complaints promptly.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including tracking stock availability, coordinating with the warehouse team for stock replenishment, and maintaining stock records.
- Prepare regular reports, including sales reports, inventory reports, and customer feedback reports.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for easy retrieval of documents.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating meetings, conferences, and other company events.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a chemical supply or distribution company, would be an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
