**Responsibilities**:
**Installation and Configuration**: Install, program, and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, recorders, and related equipment according to client specifications and industry standards.
**Maintenance and Repairs**: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
**Upgrades and Expansion**: Identify opportunities for system upgrades and expansion to meet client needs. Provide recommendations for equipment and software enhancements.
**Quality Control**: Conduct quality control checks on completed installations to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
**Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients.
**Client Support**: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally.
**Training**: Train clients and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
**Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to CCTV systems and data privacy.
**Safety**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during installations and maintenance activities to minimize risks.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in electronics or security systems is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV system components, including cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and cabling.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting IP-based CCTV systems.
- Familiarity with various CCTV camera types, such as analog, digital, and PTZ.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to [specify weight] pounds.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified CCTV Technician).
- Experience with video management software (VMS) and networking.
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems.
- Familiarity with local and state regulations related to CCTV installations.
