**Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and store materials and supplies in the construction site's storage area or warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including quantities, specifications, and storage locations.
- Regularly update the inventory database and perform stock audits to ensure accuracy.
- **Material Issuance and Distribution**:

- Issue construction materials to the relevant departments, contractors, or workers as required for ongoing projects.
- Ensure that all materials issued are recorded and accounted for, following proper procedures.
- Manage and track the movement of materials between the warehouse and various construction sites.
- **Stock Control**:

- Monitor stock levels to ensure that materials are available when needed without overstocking.
- Coordinate with project managers or procurement teams to reorder materials before they run out.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or shortages in the inventory to management.
- **Quality Control and Inspection**:

- Inspect the materials upon receipt for any damage or defects, and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain proper records of inspections and returns of faulty or damaged materials to suppliers.
- Ensure all materials are stored according to manufacturer guidelines to maintain quality and prevent damage.

- Perform regular safety checks to minimize accidents and ensure that the storage areas are clean and free from hazards.
- **Coordination with Other Teams**:

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.
- Assist in the planning of material needs for future construction phases, based on project schedules.
- **Stock Returns and Adjustments**:

- Manage the return of unused or surplus materials to suppliers, ensuring proper documentation and adjustments in the inventory.
- Process materials that are no longer required for the project and arrange for proper disposal or return.
- **Order and Maintain Equipment**:

- Keep track of any tools or construction equipment stored within the warehouse.
- Ensure proper maintenance or servicing schedules for tools and equipment as needed.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in inventory management or storekeeping, particularly in the construction or civil industry, is preferred.

- Good organizational and time management skills.
