Job Summary:
The ICU RMO is responsible for providing high-quality medical care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role involves managing patient care, collaborating with the ICU team, and ensuring that medical protocols are followed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Monitor and assess patients' conditions regularly.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.

Perform routine and emergency medical procedures as required.

Ensure all patient records are accurately maintained and updated.

Medical Procedures:
Assist in the admission and discharge processes of ICU patients.

Perform and assist with procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and other critical care interventions.

Monitor and interpret patients' vital signs and laboratory results.

Collaboration:
Work closely with ICU nurses, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Participate in daily rounds and case discussions with the medical team.

Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding patient conditions and treatment plans.

Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the ICU.

Implement life-saving interventions and stabilize patients as required.

Participate in code blue and other emergency protocols.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.

Prepare and submit required reports to the attending physicians and hospital administration.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Quality Improvement:
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of protocols to enhance patient care.

Attend regular training sessions and stay updated with the latest advancements in critical care medicine.

Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to all hospital policies, including infection control and safety guidelines.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:
Education: MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.

Experience: Prior experience in critical care or ICU setting is preferred.

Certifications: Valid medical license and certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Skills: Strong clinical skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Working Conditions:
Schedule: Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Environment: Fast-paced and high-stress ICU setting.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform medical procedures, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to emergencies.

ICU Consultant / Head of ICU

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Night shift
- Rotational shift
- Weekend availability
