**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer and maintain AS400 systems, ensuring their availability, reliability, and performance.
- Perform system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Manage user profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure system integrity.
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to optimize operations.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to AS400 systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding data security and system management.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes for future reference and audits.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and other stakeholders.

**Technical Skills Required**:

- Extensive experience with AS400/iSeries system administration.
- Proficiency in IBM i (OS/400) operating systems and associated tools.
- Experience with job scheduling, batch processing, and system automation.
- Strong understanding of AS400 security concepts, including user profile management and access control.
- Knowledge of CL programming and scripting for automation tasks.
- Experience with performance monitoring and tuning AS400 systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols and configurations relevant to AS400 environments.
- Ability to perform system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in AS400 system administration.
