**Job Description - Modular Office Furniture Designer (SketchUp Specialist)**

**Position**: Modular Office Furniture Designer
**Location**: Khadi Machine Chowk
**Employment Type**: Full-time
**Department**: Design / Projects
**Reports To**: Design Head / Sales Manager

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create **3D models, layouts, and renderings** of modular office furniture using **SketchUp** (and related plugins).
- Prepare **detailed 2D drawings** (plans, elevations, sections) for production and client presentations.
- Collaborate with the **sales, production, and project teams** to develop cost-effective and functional design solutions.
- Customize modular furniture designs as per **client specifications, space planning needs, and brand aesthetics**.
- Ensure designs comply with **ergonomic standards, safety guidelines, and material feasibility**.
- Stay updated with **latest trends in modular furniture design, office interiors, and innovative materials**.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Proficiency in **SketchUp**, AutoCAD (added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of **modular office furniture design, ergonomics, and space planning**.
- Creativity with attention to detail and functionality.
- Ability to prepare **accurate working drawings and technical documentation**.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Problem-solving attitude with ability to handle multiple projects.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Diploma / Degree in **Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or related field**.
- **1-5 years of experience** in designing modular office furniture (freshers with strong portfolio may also apply).
- Hands-on experience in **office furniture projects** (workstations, partitions, chairs, storage, etc.).
- Knowledge of **materials (wood, laminates, metals, glass, fabrics, etc.)** used in modular furniture manufacturing.
