ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are on the hunt for self-motivated and experienced ABACUS tutors to join the flock and teach learners effectively. Join our community of educators dedicated to changing the world, one child at a time. As a teacher, you will be cultivating the students’ interest in education and development. Your responsibilities will include grading assignments, evaluating students’ progress, and planning educational activities.

Role Responsibility

Manage pupil learning through effective teaching.

Ensure continuity, progression and cohesiveness in all teaching.

Use variety of methods and approaches to match curricular and co-curricular objectives

Teaching Abacus to students from beginner to advanced level.

Communicate high expectations for every student.

Planning and implementing a program of instruction and lesson plans.

Demonstrate effective preparation for student’s instruction.

Have knowledge of varied methodologies of instruction and assessment

Building relationships and mentoring students.

Maintain student behavioural standards to ensure a productive and disciplined environment that is conducive to learning.

Maintain a fun, safe and positive learning environment for students.

Evaluate student progress and ensure that students complete daily assignments.

SKILLS REQUIRED

The knowledge of Abacus, creative forms of instruction and brilliant vocabulary is a prerequisite, but when it comes to building an excellent experience for the parent or learner, another set of skills needs to come to the fore.

Previous teaching experience.
