**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Comply with all legal requirements regarding coding procedures and practices.
- Assign and sequence all codes for services rendered.
- Collaborate with billing department to ensure all bills are satisfied with a timely manner.
- Communicate with insurance companies about coding errors and disputes.
- Maintain Excel and Reports as per the company's regulation.
- Should have decent communication, written and interactive skills.
- Should be qualified in Life Science and Paramedical science as such (Nursing/ Bio
- Technology/Microbiology/Bio-Chemistry/Zoology/B Pharm/M
Pharm/Physiotherapy/Physician Assistant/Radiology/Nutrition and Dietetics) Certified
medical coder is a plus.
- Knowledge and ability to use computer systems.
- Basic knowledge in medical terminology and ICD coding.
- Should be flexible and adaptable towards work.
