An automobile salesperson's job is to help customers buy a car by guiding them through the sales process and making them feel welcome. Their responsibilities include:

- **Greeting customers**: Welcoming customers to the dealership and making them feel supported
- **Demonstrating vehicles**: Showing customers the features and capabilities of the cars, and taking them on test drives
- **Answering questions**: Answering questions about the cars, financing, and purchase process
- **Negotiating prices**: Negotiating the price of the car and the trade-in value of the customer's vehicle
- **Coordinating financing**: Working with the finance department to determine the customer's financing and ownership options
- **Following up**: Contacting past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles
- **Maintaining the showroom**: Assisting with the setup of the showroom and displays, and ensuring the cars on display are well cared for
- **Providing sales management information**: Completing reports to provide sales management information
- **Updating knowledge**: Keeping up with industry knowledge by reading professional publications and participating in educational opportunities

Automobile sales can be a competitive field, but it can also be exciting. Some qualities that may help in this type of job include being assertive, extroverted, enthusiastic, positive, persuasive, and self-motivated.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
