- Role Overview:

- Elevator Modernization product design engineer works with Sales and Marketing, Finds the need of product, builds business case, designs the cost-effective product for modernizing the existing elevators in the portfolio and deploys with proper engineering design and review process.
- On a typical day you will:

- Identifies the need of new elevator modernization product to upgrade existing elevators to current technology, Develops the design specifications for the new product, develops the business case, Designs the cost-effective product, Releases the engineering design data like 3D models, Drawings, and Bill of Material, validates the design and releases with proper engineering design process. Works with cross functional team to build cost model for the new product, supports in preparation of post release process like deployment, Installation process, and resolves the quality issues of the product.
- What You Will Need to be Successful:

- Should have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering_
- Should have hands on experience in the mechanical design tool like CreO, A-Cad, and Conversent with MS office tools._
- Should have thorough knowledge of Elevator design process and code requirements_
- Should have good communication and presentation skills_
- Should process 6-7 years of hands-on work experience in Elevator modernization product design in reputed elevator industry. Other eqvt reputed industry experience will also be considered with above said skills._
