**Position Overview**:
As a Gelato Chef at Snowy Owl Gelato Co., you will play a vital role in the creation and production of our signature gelato flavors. You will be responsible for developing new recipes, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. We seek someone who is creative, passionate about gelato, and dedicated to using only the finest all-natural ingredients.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Recipe Development**:

- Create and innovate new gelato flavors, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
- Experiment with flavor profiles to ensure unique and high-quality products.

2. **Production**:

- Oversee the daily production of gelato, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Inventory management
- Maintain efficient production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste.

3. **Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular taste tests to ensure flavor consistency and quality.
- Monitor the freshness and quality of all ingredients used in production.

4. **Ingredient Sourcing**:

- Collaborate with local suppliers to source fresh, organic, and sustainable ingredients.
- Stay informed about current food trends and customer preferences.

5. **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure that all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed in the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Gelato Chef or in a similar role in a high-quality kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of gelato production techniques on Italian machines and flavor profiles.
- Passion for using natural ingredients and sustainability practices.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative flavors.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
