**Job Title**: Tool Room Technician/Supervisor
**Experience**: 2 - 10 years

**Job Summary**:
The Tool Room Technician/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all operations related to the tool room, ensuring proper inventory management, maintenance of tools and equipment, and optimizing costs for purchasing and utilization. This role involves training and directing subordinate workers, coordinating cross-functional activities, maintaining records, and working within budget constraints to improve efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Train and supervise tool room personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
- Coordinate tool room activities with other departments and supervisors to streamline operations.
- Maintain accurate tool room records, tracking inventory usage and recommending optimal stock levels.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair tools and equipment as needed.
- Prepare and manage the tool room budget, including forecasts and capital expenditure proposals.
- Source and qualify potential suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of tools and services.
- Optimize material purchasing to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Implement modifications to tool designs for enhanced performance and durability.
- Ensure effective communication regarding inventory items to maximize utilization.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 2-10 years of experience in tool room management, machining, or manufacturing setup.
- Strong knowledge of tool design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Budgeting and cost control expertise with supplier management experience.
- Proficiency in inventory tracking systems and MS Office tools.
- Leadership and team management skills with an ability to train subordinates.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach toward continuous improvement.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹630,000.00 per year
