Qualification
A Master’s degree in Economics from a recognized university.
A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) in the Master's degree.
National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified/ SET or Ph.D. exemption for NET (if applicable).
**Job Description**:
The Assistant Professor (Economics) is responsible for teaching economics courses, conducting research, and mentoring students.
The required qualification shall be as per UGC/ BCI guidelines.
The role involves developing course content, contributing to departmental growth, and engaging in academic and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in economics, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics.
Develop and update course syllabi to reflect current trends and advancements in the field of economics.
Conduct research in economics and contribute to academic publications and presentations.
Mentor students by providing academic advice and supporting their research projects.
Design, evaluate, and grade student assessments, ensuring fair and constructive feedback.
Participate in academic committees, and contribute to the development of the economics department.
