Video Editor Intern

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Video Editing**: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring seamless transitions, sound synchronization, and visual appeal.
- **Motion Graphics**: Create eye-catching motion graphics for video intros, title sequences, transitions, and animations as required.
- **Conceptualization**: Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand the project requirements, providing creative input and ideas for video and animation content.
- **Post-Production**: Enhance video footage with color correction, special effects, audio balancing, and other post-production techniques.
- **Brand Adherence**: Ensure all video content adheres to the company’s branding, style, and tone.
- **Storytelling**: Use editing techniques and motion graphics to create compelling visual narratives for marketing campaigns, social media content, and internal communications.
- **Software Proficiency**: Stay updated with the latest editing tools and motion graphics software, providing expertise on new tools and methods to enhance project quality.
- **Content Optimization**: Optimize video content for different platforms, ensuring file sizes, formats, and resolutions are appropriate for web, social media, and internal use.
- **File Management**: Organize and manage media assets, ensuring that project files and raw footage are properly archived for future use.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in **Film Production, Graphic Design, Animation, Media Arts, or related fields** (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a **Video Editor**, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing and motion graphics.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as **Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro**, and motion graphics software like **Adobe After Effects**.
- Strong knowledge of **audio editing and sound design**.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines and pivot quickly when priorities change.
- Strong understanding of **color theory, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy**.
- Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output for every project.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Creative flair and passion for storytelling through video and motion graphics.

**Preferred Skills (Bonus)**:

- Experience with **3D motion graphics** or **animation software** (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Knowledge of **social media trends** and experience in creating content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- **Basic knowledge of photography** or **videography**.
