POSITION RESPONSIBILITY
- Partner with business managers, UX designers, creative leadership, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and communicate the vision to the engineering team.
- Partner with the Technical Architect, understand technical requirements, track progress, validate the output delivered, and remove business related impediments to successful delivery.
- Establish a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the needs and goals of the organization.
- Along with the business analyst, break down requirements into user stories and refine them, working closely with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria using appropriate product techniques and frameworks.
- Manage product backlog and conduct backlog grooming sessions to ensure the team understands the requirements and priorities.
- Accept completed work, conduct acceptance testing, and provide feedback to ensure the software meets the needs of the end users.
- Work in an iterative development environment, regularly adapting the product backlog based on feedback and emerging requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to plan and coordinate software releases, ensuring the timely delivery of valuable features.
- Document and communicate end-user feedback, user needs, and workflows for the product and engineering teams and the wider business.

REQUIRED **SKILLS**
- 8+ years of prior work experience as a Product Owner (or a Project/Product Manager in an agile environment)
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information
- Experience in projects involving services in the cloud accessed through the web.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and other agile software development methodologies.
- Real-world experience with VFX industry technology, including but not limited to Production Tracking and/or Pipeline Development.
- Experience in using Jira, Confluence and/or Trello.
- Proven leadership and project management ability, excellent business judgment, and the ability to develop trusted relationships.
