Job Description: Factory Trainer

Position Title: Factory Trainer

Location: Tumakuru

Department: Human Resources / L&D

Reports To: Head L&D

Key Responsibilities: 1. Training Needs Assessment: - Identify technical and behavioral training needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, and consultation with department managers. - Develop a training plan that aligns with the factory's operational goals and employee development needs.

2. Training Program Development: - Design and develop comprehensive training programs covering technical skills, safety protocols, quality standards, and soft skills. - Create training materials, manuals, and other resources to support the training programs.

4. Training Evaluation and Effectiveness: - Implement evaluation methods to measure training effectiveness, including pre
- and post
- training assessments, feedback surveys, and on-the-job performance metrics. - Analyze training outcomes and make data-driven recommendations for program improvements.

5. Training Administration: - Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant attendance, and program outcomes. - Report on training metrics, including the achievement of 15 training man-days per month.

6. Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated on the latest training techniques, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. - Continuously improve training content and delivery methods to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

7. Collaboration: - Work closely with department managers and supervisors to ensure training programs meet the specific needs of different teams. - Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to integrate training with broader employee development initiatives.

Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Factory Trainer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. - Strong knowledge of technical and behavioral training methods. - Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. - Ability to assess training needs and develop effective training programs. Proficiency in MS Office and e-learning platforms. - Certification in training (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP) is a plus.
