**Job Description - Machine Operator**

**Position**: Machine Operator

**Location**: Ponmar, Medavakkam

**Department**: Manufacturing/Production

**Reports To**: Supervisor/Production Manager

**Employment Type**: Full-Time/Contract

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Operation**: Set up, adjust, and operate production machinery as per standard operating procedures.
- **Monitoring & Maintenance**: Inspect machines before and after use, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure the production of high-quality products by monitoring measurements, calibrations, and output.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow workplace safety regulations and use proper protective gear.
- **Production Reporting**: Maintain logs, document production details, and report machine malfunctions to the supervisor.
- **Efficiency & Improvement**: Identify and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- **Experience**: Prior experience as a machine operator or in a related field is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects if required.
- **Work Conditions**: Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing for long periods and working in shifts.
