Clinical Dietitian

**Job Summary**:
The Clinical Dietician will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of patients, developing and implementing nutrition programs, and providing education and support to promote healthy eating habits. This role requires a compassionate individual who can work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, considering medical history, lab results, and other relevant data.
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans and interventions to meet the specific needs of patients.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition plans, making adjustments as necessary.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on nutrition and dietary practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition care into overall patient treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Stay updated with the latest research and trends in clinical nutrition to ensure evidence-based practice.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
- State licensure or certification as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical dietician in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based dietary practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in specialized areas such as pediatrics, oncology, or diabetes management.
- Advanced certifications or additional training in clinical nutrition.
