- In this role, you will be responsible for leading teams and service level target’s role for P&C Insurance Business. Facilitating goal-level creation for the team in line with Business goals and works with managers to ensure the goals are cascade to all associates. Guiding the talent identification and development process for the team. You will be encouraged to be focused on the Business goals/challenges and know how to seek these using analytics and technology._
- Responsibilities_
- _Knowledge of Market Reform Contract (Slip), it's sections and details such as written line, Sign Line etc. as well as carrier generated policy documentation._
- _Exposure to London Market i.e., Company and Bureau markets is preferable._
- _Lead teams and service level targets. Providing mentorship to direct reports, comprised of Domain Experts and Assistant managers._
- _Monitor, analyses, and report on trends in the key underwriting performance drivers_
- _Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with UK partners_
- _Understanding of risks faced by the function and the controls in place to balance and mitigate the risks._
- _Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area_
- _Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment._
- _Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning_
- _Approving hiring and redeployment requests within his/her group_
- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum Qualifications_
- _Graduate in any stream except Technical_
- _Should have wing to wing knowledge of the Underwriting lifecycle Must demonstrate and further customer focus, partnership, accountability, initiative, and innovation._
- Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_
- _Preferred with certification on one of the streams i.e., CII London i.e., ALMI, FIT or Cert CII or equivalent or AINS, CPCU certification._
- _Ability to think long-term strategically and operationally._
- _High customer service orientation._
- _Excellent interpersonal skills with full understanding of UK insurance U/W and claims cycle dynamics and Lloyd’s market._
- _Excellent written and verbal English._
- _Strong statistical knowledge_
- _Highly motivated and achievement oriented_
