**Key Responsibilities**:
**Audit Freight Bills**
Review and audit freight bills for accuracy in rates, charges, and compliance with contractual terms.
**Verify Documentation**
- Ensure all supporting documentation (invoices, bills of lading, contracts) aligns with billed charges and shipment details.
**Resolve Discrepancies**
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between billed charges and contracted rates, coordinating with carriers and internal departments as necessary.
**Cost Optimization**
- Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs through auditing and analysis of billing data.
**Maintain Records**
- Maintain accurate records of audits, discrepancies, and resolutions for reporting and compliance purposes.
**Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to freight billing and transportation.
**Qualification & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience with relevant experience in freight auditing or transportation logistics.
**Skills**
- Previous experience in freight auditing, transportation logistics, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in using auditing tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, auditing software).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
