Role Description

**Role Description**: TL QA

We are searching for a self-driven Lead Engineer having strong experience for testing different switching products, good debugging skills.

Role and responsibilities.
- Understand the test requirements and getting the team aligned with the same.
- Driving the team on all technical aspects, interacting with client for all technical inputs and queries.
- Automation and integration of complex processes.
- Research and integrate new technologies into existing stack.

Technical skills requirements
- Good testing experience in Datacom/IP-Networking/Switching domain.
- Knowledge of Networking(L2/L3 protocols)
- Hands-on and understanding in switching/L2 protocols (Ethernet, IEEE 802.1x std. STP, RSTP, VLAN, LLDP)
- Good clarity of Networking concepts (ARP, ICMP, TCP/UDP, etc) and hands-on experience on Networking Products - Router, Switches.
- Good understanding of various user interface architecture like Web, SNMP and CLI.
- Should have worked in different automation framework development.
- Good understanding of testing concepts and hands-on experience in functional/sanity/regression testing.
- CI/CD: Jenkins (pipelines in Groovy), Github Actions
- Scripting: Python is a must
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High levels of motivation with a can-do attitude.

Certifications (preferred)

Nice-to-have skills
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting various control and data plane problems in system
- Good understanding of testing concepts and hands-on experience in functional/sanity/regression testing.
- Working experience on RTOS (vxworks, eCos) or Linux.
- Problem solving mind and attitude
- Effective communication skills - written, spoken, listening and presentation
- Great Team player
- Genuine interest in learning and knowledge sharing
- Basic understanding of Agile Practices and methodologies.
- Experience in on-site execution/integration support is a plus

Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline is required
- Demonstrated ability to work well in an agile team environment
