Security Guard

Urgently required Security Guard for a residential school in Dalhousie.

Food and accommodation will be provided.

**Salary**: Depending upon previous experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Patrol and monitor school buildings, dormitories, gates, and surrounding areas regularly.
- Control entry and exit of students, staff, and visitors in accordance with school policies.
- Maintain a visitor log and issue passes where necessary.
- Ensure that all security systems (CCTV, alarms, lights, etc.) are operational.
- Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical situations, or disturbances.
- Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or violations to the Security Supervisor or Administration.
- Assist in enforcing school rules, especially regarding curfews and restricted areas.
- Conduct security checks during school functions, events, and visiting hours.
- Support staff and students during evacuation drills and emergency situations.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the safety of students, particularly in dormitory areas.
- Prepare daily security reports and incident logs.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a security guard, preferably in a school or institutional setting.
- Basic understanding of safety and emergency procedures.
- Physically fit and able to perform routine patrol duties.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity, reliability, and alertness are essential.
- Knowledge of first aid or fire safety is an advantage.
- Must be willing to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Working Conditions**:

- Residential school environment; may require night shifts or extended hours.
- Outdoor and indoor work in varying weather conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
