Chemist

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform laboratory experiments and analyses to develop and optimize polymer formulations, including conducting chemical reactions, characterizing product properties, and evaluating performance.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, and generate technical reports and documentation to communicate results and findings to internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and sales, to support product development, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical expertise.
- Participate in product scale-up trials and production processes, including batch production, process optimization, and quality control testing, to ensure consistent product performance and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct product stability and shelf-life studies to evaluate product performance over time and make recommendations for product improvements or modifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in polymer emulsions technology through literature review, attending conferences, and continuous learning to drive innovation in product development.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in customer technical support, including addressing customer inquiries, providing product recommendations, and troubleshooting product-related issues.
- Participate in new product development projects, including formulating new polymer emulsions based on customer requirements, conducting feasibility studies, and evaluating product performance.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Chemistry or related field, with 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably in polymer emulsions or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry, emulsion technology, and characterization techniques, including FTIR, DSC, TGA, and particle size analysis.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and techniques used in polymer synthesis, characterization, and testing.
- Understanding of product development principles, including formulation, optimization, and scale-up, and familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality control standards in the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations for product improvements.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present technical information to internal teams and customers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting experiments, recording data, and preparing reports.
- Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis, documentation, and communication.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and stay updated with industry advancements to drive innovation in product development.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
