**Job Description: Mutual Fund Operations - BSE StAR Platform**

**Position Title**: Mutual Fund Operations Executive

**Location**: Bangalore

**Job Overview**: The Mutual Fund Operations role involves overseeing the efficient functioning of mutual fund transactions and related activities on the BSE StAR platform. This includes processing investor transactions, maintaining records, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves close coordination with various internal teams, distributors, asset management companies (AMCs), and other intermediaries to ensure smooth mutual fund operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Transaction Processing**:

- Execute and monitor mutual fund transactions (purchase, redemption, switching, etc.) on the BSE StAR platform.
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and promptly, in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Handle and resolve any transaction-related issues, including discrepancies, rejections, or reversals.
- **Investor Account Maintenance**:

- Ensure accurate maintenance of investor records and transaction histories.
- Address investor queries related to mutual fund investments and transaction statuses.
- **Reconciliation & Reporting**:

- Reconcile mutual fund transaction data between the BSE StAR platform and internal systems.
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on mutual fund transactions, NAVs (Net Asset Values), and other key metrics.
- Ensure accurate reporting to regulators and other stakeholders, as required.
- **Client & Distributor Coordination**:

- Act as a liaison between the organization, mutual fund distributors, and AMCs.
- Address and resolve operational queries raised by distributors or investors regarding mutual fund products and services.
- Provide training and support to distributors on the BSE StAR platform and mutual fund transaction processes.
- **System & Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the mutual fund operations workflow.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve system issues and enhance the BSE StAR platform’s operational efficiency.
- Ensure smooth integration of new mutual fund schemes or products onto the BSE StAR platform.
- **Customer Service & Issue Resolution**:

- Handle investor complaints and provide timely resolutions to any operational issues.
- Ensure that service levels are met for turnaround times and customer satisfaction.
- **Training & Development**:

- Continuously update knowledge on mutual fund products, BSE StAR platform functionalities, and industry best practices.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development to stay current with industry trends and regulations.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field. A certification in Mutual Fund Distribution (NISM-Series V-A or other relevant certifications) is a plus.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in mutual fund operations, preferably on platforms such as BSE StAR, NSE NMFII, or similar.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with mutual fund transaction software and platforms, particularly BSE StAR.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing mutual fund operations (SEBI, AMFI guidelines).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with investors, distributors, and internal teams.
- Problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of reconciliation tools and financial software.
- Familiarity with investor onboarding processes and KYC norms.
- Understanding of the mutual fund ecosystem and the role of different intermediaries.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform analytical tasks.

**Work Environment**:

- Office-based or Hybrid (depending on company policy).
- Regular working hours with occasional overtime during peak seasons (e.g., tax filing periods, product launches, etc.).

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
