**Responsibilities**:
Guest service: Provide exceptional service to guests by welcoming them, assisting with seating arrangements, and ensuring their needs and preferences are met throughout their dining experience.
Team coordination: Supervise and coordinate the F&B staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and support staff, to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery.
Order management: Take orders from guests, transmit them to the kitchen, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages to guests' tables.
Menu knowledge: Have a comprehensive understanding of the menu offerings, including food and beverage items, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation. Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations.
Upselling and suggestive selling: Proactively promote and upsell menu items, special promotions, and signature dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue.
Guest satisfaction: Monitor guest feedback and promptly address any issues or concerns raised by guests, ensuring their satisfaction and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner.
Training and development: Train new F&B team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and proper etiquette. Conduct ongoing training and coaching to enhance the team's performance and maintain consistency in service quality.
Operational efficiency: Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and organization of the dining areas. Monitor table turnover and manage reservations to optimize seating capacity.
Sales and revenue management: Collaborate with the F&B Manager to develop strategies to increase revenue, implement sales initiatives, and achieve financial targets. Monitor and control costs, such as food waste and breakages.
Compliance with policies and regulations: Adhere to health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies. Ensure that all F&B staff follow proper hygiene practices and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an F&B Captain or similar role in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items, preparation methods, and presentation.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns effectively.
- Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems and basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational requirements.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
