**Job Summary**:
The Customer Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, processing transactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Offer product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
- **Sales Support**:

- Assist with sales transactions, including processing payments and handling returns or exchanges.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings.
- Support merchandising efforts by ensuring product displays are organized and appealing.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked with merchandise.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks.
- Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Previous experience in retail or customer service.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
