**Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Drafting: Create precise 2D or 3D farm designs, pathways, waterbodies, fencing, etc using CAD software. Ensure designs are in compliance with the specified standards and requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand the requirements of a project and translate them into viable designs.
- Utilize AutoCAD Design Suite to design utility-scale generation projects for creating and editing layouts for civil structures, details, sections, elevations, farm design schematics and other detailed drawings.
- Drafting, designing and other technical support for all offer and project related drawing requirements.
- Incorporate geolocation information into projects, generate shape files and KMZ files, and maintain proper drafting scales.
- Field visits to study and validate the land orientation and conditions for accurate designs.
- Ensuring proper documentation of technical datasheets, designs, and drawings with version control
- Accurately operating and maintaining the drawing and documentation libraries.
- Support and lead the development of standards, templates, libraries, optimizations, and processes to maximize efficiency in cost and performance.
- Any other ad hoc tasks and related duties as assigned.
- Modification and Optimization: Modify and refine designs, using working models, to increase the efficiency of the product and reduce costs of production.
- Analysis and Problem Solving: Analyze the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for designs, including specifications, materials lists, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and completeness of final designs. Regularly review and update designs to meet changing customer and industry specifications.
- Technology Proficiency: Stay updated with the latest CAD/CAM software and technologies; adapt to new software or upgrades as needed.
- Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with manufacturing teams or use CAM software to create prototypes and conduct tests to evaluate product feasibility.

**Functional details**:
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Technical College, Bachelor or Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, in mechanical, civil, or electrical design.
- Strong AutoCAD skills, including the use of layers, blocks, XREFs, coordinate systems, annotations, and dimensioning while adhering to company and industry drafting standards.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Self-starter - ability to work with mínimal guidance.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, prioritization, and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to build a team-centered culture, supporting training for team members at all levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, present alternatives, and make recommendations.
- Civil 3D modelling experience is highly valued.
- Familiarity with Agroforestry and Best Practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with GIS Tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) and coordinate systems is a plus.
