We are looking for a Data Curator/ Entry Operator for one of our US-based clients who are into Research and Biotechnology-based Industry.
Location - Remote - INDIA
Experience - 2-4 years
Role - Permanent - Full time
Shift - Need to overlap 4-5 hours of US shift
Salary - upto 7 Lakhs per annum

What You’ll Do
- Evaluate metadata and data files to comply with prescribed guidelines.
- Liaise with authors to ensure datasets comply with data-sharing standards.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality of the research data submitted
- Track progress across all curation stages.
- Work with the curation team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Participate in curation triage meetings with the curation team.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and assist with implementation.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with research data in biological sciences or related fields.
- Well versed in commonly used research tools and analysis software (like RStudio, MatLab etc.).
- Strong computer skills (MS Office or equivalent open source alternatives, Google Suite, Text Editor, and so on).
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills, as well as the ability to identify and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality results.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills. The data curator should be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Be a team player and work well with other curators.
- High level of professionalism focused on providing excellent customer service to the authors.

Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in undergraduate/graduate research work. Experience in any capacity in scholarly publishing would be beneficial.
- Location: REMOTE - INDIA
- Qualifications: At least a Master’s degree in biology or related fields in the life sciences, or extensive experience working with datasets in a research setting.
