**Overview**

**Responsibilities**

**Classroom Instruction & Curriculum Delivery**
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans based on the curriculum that foster student engagement and academic progress.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with varying abilities and learning styles.

**Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring**
- Use both formal and informal assessments to evaluate student progress and learning outcomes.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work and conduct regular check-ins with students to monitor their development.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, including grades, behavior, and social-emotional growth.

**Classroom Management**
- Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies and maintain consistent routines and expectations.
- Address student behavioral issues with appropriate interventions and support, promoting a culture of respect and responsibility.

**Collaboration & Professional Development**
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including other teachers, specialists, and staff, to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in regular team meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance teaching practices.
- Engage in ongoing self-reflection and seek opportunities for growth and improvement in the classroom.

**Parent & Guardian Communication**
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, academic achievements, and behavioral developments.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
- Encourage parental involvement in school activities and maintain positive relationships with families.

**Extracurricular & School Activities**
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and projects that enhance students’ learning experiences.
- Provide supervision during school events, recess, field trips, and other school activities as needed.

**Other Duties**
- Assist with the preparation and organization of instructional materials and classroom resources.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and support the school’s overall mission and values.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.

**Skills Description**
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or licensure for Primary Education.
- Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of primary school curricula and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in education.
