The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

ROLE
- Production Supervisor (based at Pune-Ranjangaon MIDC)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- BE /BE Tech Mechanical from a Reputed university/college like NIT's / REC’s and Tier-1 state colleges
- Exp. 9 to 12 years
- Experience in Manufacturing/Production

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Expertise in advanced manufacturing process like robotic manufacturing line, machining converting & flow wrap packaging.
- Coating and packaging mechanisms.
- Knowledge of Production challenges handling, resolution of issues.
- Risk evaluation, mitigation, actions tracking to lower risks.
- Execute shop floor trainings, good communication skill, shop floor team management. IR & ER issues management, multiskilling strategies to improve productivity.
- Bottleneck operations identification & improvements. Build good culture at shop floor considering organization & customer goals.
- Ensure EHS, ISO / QMS compliance at shop floor. IATF knowledge & hands on experience in manufacturing
- LSS hoppering, out to in projects top line improvement & operational excellence to meet bottom line targets.
- Handling shop floor development activities, project tracking & execution.
- OEE Improvement, Yield Improvement initiatives & hands on experience
- Review on Safety aspects, line layouts, lean processes at shop floor.
- Review with management on mfg KPI status, gap identification, actions to improve.
- Daily plan Vs actual analysis, productivity improvement, gap analysis and actions executions at work centers / machines
- Shop order, material booking, system variance analysis and actions at shop floor for improvements.
- Technical capabilities in machine operational, problem solving, poka-yoke, Kaizens, Six sigma projects & continual improvement projects at shop floor.
- Operations YoY growth, manufacturing consumables cost optimization, head count optimization, 5S at shop floor etc hands on experience.
- Collaboration with CFT at shop floor considering customer at our core. CFT not limited to process engg, quality, EHS, sourcing & Warehouse team.
- Manufacturing layout, process optimization, operator team engagement through Kaizens, quick win improvement projects from shop floor.
- Contract & Machine operating head count optimization by process improvements.
- Follow & maintain discipline at shop floor as per company policies & betterment for customer & organization.
- On time finish good deposits at billable locations to improve product availability / OTIF for customers.
- Part of PFMEA, MSA, Control plan, process capability studies & PPAP for automotive customers. Need hands on experience & PFMEA review mechanism at shop floor.

Cost Reduction & Value Engineering
- Work closely with stakeholders to improve packaging, cost reduction, reducing setup time & changes, change over time etc.
- Lead projects that can reduce waste, Material cost and improve Unit cost.
- Identify opportunities that can leveraged for manufacturing new products with existing facility.

Other details:

- Six sigma green belt certified or hands on experience.
- Certified IATF auditor / internal auditor
- Job stability, not too many job changes in his career.

Reporting

The position is based at Ranjangaon and will directly report to Operation Lead based at Ranjangaon.
