Deputy Controller

**Description**:
The person is responsible of financial aspects for one or several programs Activities / Program Work Package Activities of Engineering BAU (Engineering, Testing & Proto type activities). He ensures the data reliability in line with process and finance program golden rules & manage PL and cash. The main missions of the role are to:

- **
Provide reliable financial/controlling informations in close relationship with other operational and support functions**- Manage autonomously a BAU(Business Unit/Segment) P&L with reporting & Forecast.
- Prepare Cash Flow Forecast, Analysis and Present the Variations against Budget & Forecast, Monitor and Control the Cash Flows.
- Lead all financial forecasting processes (budget, periodic forecast, MIS reporting for respective BAU)
- Perform financial analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margin/programs, budgetary control and prepare high quality business reports for strategic decision making
- Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and due compliance
- Collaborate with Shared Service Center(Inhouse accounting team) obtaining/providing/validating proper finance information ( Month closing activities)
- Accrual & Provision for monthly closing for the respective BAU.
- Take ownership & work autonomously & should be responsible for the over all movement of P&L of the BAU.
- Analysis the report variance as per budget vs actual with reason for deviaton.
- Control and manage the operating cash flow (capex, inventories, receivables, payables)
- In liaison with Shared Service Center provide all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors, and others local external authorities
- Should be able to work autonomously and proactively to identify opportunities for improving financial performance
- Should have ability to adapt to change in business dynamics and predict changes to be done in controlling process
- Should work with business leader in the Site and support with required financial information for business decisions.
- Monthly segment wise PL reporting at cost center level.
- Monitor the Situation of Business from Internal Control Point of view. Make Sure Group Internal Control Policies are propoerly Followed. Periodic review with Business leaders for Group Policy Complainces.
- Prepare & present hourly rate break up for the respective business segment & monitor the variance with actual & budgeted hourly rate.
- Prepare & Participate in Annual Business Plan validation, and ensure consistency with financial information at the BAU level & support for consolidation.
- **
Reveunue recongniation & monthly hours validation for the BAU**- Validate the monthly Hours booked in TEMPO tool.
- Communicate all region controllers for validation of hours post segregation from TEMPO tool.
- Coordinate with Engineerign team for SO creation & SSC team for Invoicing.
- Prepare BAU wise monthly hours region wise & business segement wise & ciruculate to business leaders.
- Perform financial analysis including variance analysis in term with budgeted hours with actual hours, monitor monthly hours movement region wise & report for any variance.
- Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and due compliance
- Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing/validating proper finance information for Invocing/Credit note as per region specification
- Should be able to work autonomously and proactively to identify opportunities for improving process with TEMPO team, SSC team & with regional controllers
- Test Center & Proto Center Activities
- Bench Wise Cost monitoring, Periodic review with Test Center Team.
- Bench wise Hourly Cost working, Comparing with Hourly Rates Charged
- Proto Center Cost Monitoring, Support for preparation and Validating Quotations.
- Calculation of Machine Hour Rates for Proto Center.
- Support for India engineering Financial Consolidation, Management reporting at India Level.
- Present Management reports, PL analysis to business leaders.
- Interact with regional business leaders, Senior management officals, regional controllers.
- Work on Global Engineering consolditation of Monthly Financials data, and other miscellaneous reports

**Qualifications**:

- CA / ICWA (Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant )
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in an industrial environment( Preferable with Controlling)
- SAP-ERP knowldege must with experience in extraction & reporting.
- Ability to provide qualitative and reliable information, and to work on a project management basis
- Ability to manage uncertainty
- Demonstrated good communication skills and autonomy
