**QA Subject Matter Expert (Manual Testing)**

**Location: Aundh - PUNE-411045**

**A) Software Testing (Manual Testing preferred)

**B) banking domain (Commercial Banking)

**Salary: 4-9.45 LPA**

**Contract Duration**: 17 Months (with potential for extension)

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies based on project specifications.
- Guide the team in executing test cases manually or with automation, identifying defects, and documenting issues using established testing procedures.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts as needed.
- Document and prioritize defects, tracking them through to resolution.
- Conduct defect retesting and verify fixes to ensure they meet acceptance criteria.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Create and update testing artifacts to support project documentation.
- Set up and configure test environments to simulate production conditions and ensure realistic testing scenarios.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior testing associates.
- Share expertise and best practices with the testing team.
- Propose and implement improvements in testing processes and procedures.
- Communicate testing progress, findings, and risks to project stakeholders.
- Prepare and present test status reports as required.

**Qualifications**:

- B.E./B.Tech./BCA/MCA/B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT.
- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual Testing preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the banking domain (Commercial Banking).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time-management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to interact with clients and manage client expectations effectively.
