Librarian

**Job Title**: School Librarian

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the school library
- Catalog and maintain books, periodicals, and digital resources
- Guide students in locating and selecting age-appropriate reading materials
- Organize reading programs, book fairs, and library events
- Maintain discipline and a conducive learning environment in the library
- Support teachers with reference materials and teaching aids
- Maintain records of book issues/returns using library management systems
- Promote a reading culture through displays, activities, and book reviews

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Library Science (B.Lib./M.Lib.)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a school library preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with library software and digital tools
- Passion for books and working with children
