**Job description**
- Assist in the training of production operators on the use of new CNC & VMC machine control and tools.
- Supports the departmental CNC & VMC program change control repository.
- Perform cutting tools evaluations, cost analysis and new technology implementation.
- Maintain status reports on program availability on a timely basis.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
- Mathematical skills including algebra and trigonometry.
- Make suggestions on drawing changes to improve manufacturability and CNC & VMC program strategy.
- Design and machine fixture tooling as needed.
- Assist with operator training.
- Inspect and measure using precision instruments.

**Required Skills**:

- Must know lathe and mill CNC & VMC controls, including multiple-axis machining centres, and be adaptable toward ever-changing technology.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO / IATF standards a plus.
- Good oral and written communication in skills in Spanish and English.
- Teamwork and customer focus oriented.
- Experience and knowledge in generating tool paths through the use of CAD CAM modelling software.
