1. Collaborate with clients to gather relevant financial information and documentation for the preparation and submission of accurate tax returns and reports.
2. Conduct thorough research and analysis of local and international tax regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax savings opportunities for clients.
3. Prepare and review complex tax calculations, including corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
4. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, providing timely and accurate tax advice, guidance, and support, both in-person and through written communication.
5. Utilize advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills to create and maintain comprehensive tax-related spreadsheets, databases, and reports, ensuring the efficient and accurate management of client data.
6. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of tax planning strategies, identifying areas of improvement, and suggesting innovative solutions to optimize clients' tax positions.
7. Keep abreast of changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends, attending relevant training programs and seminars to enhance knowledge and expertise, and sharing insights and updates with colleagues and clients.
