**Job Description**:
Key role requirements for this position:
1. **Expert Knowledge in Forensic Medicine**: Deep understanding of forensic pathology, toxicology, and clinical forensic medicine is essential. The professor should stay current with advances in the field and have practical experience in medico-legal investigations.

2. **Teaching and Curriculum Development**: Develop and deliver comprehensive educational programs for students in forensic medicine. This includes designing course content, creating lectures, and developing practical training modules.

3. **Research and Publication**: Conduct original research in forensic medicine, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the advancement of the field. This also involves securing research funding and leading research projects.

4. **Supervision and Mentoring**: Supervise and mentor students, postgraduate researchers, and junior faculty. Provide guidance on academic, research, and career development.

5. **Professional Practice**: Engage in forensic practice by providing expert testimony in legal settings, consulting on medico-legal cases, and working with law enforcement and legal professionals.

6. **Academic Leadership**: Contribute to the academic leadership of the department or faculty, including participating in committees, developing strategic plans, and contributing to accreditation processes.
