We have an opportunity for an
**Azure Solutions Architect** to join our Engineering team.

**Responsibilities**:
**A day in the life of our Azure Solutions Architect will include...**
- Architect, design, and build cloud solutions around JBT’s Integrations platform to bring the best of cloud capabilities, solutions, and security for the future.
- Design, develop and support Logic apps for integrations and Synapse data platform for data warehouse and ELT pipelines.
- Partner and work closely with Business Unit stakeholders to design and develop effective solutions that meet and support business goals.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations for performance improvements for security and governance.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Implement Infrastructure as Code for Cloud, using Automation Tools.
- Partner with Microsoft MSP to develop monitoring and alerting solutions for Azure environments.
- Provide robust documentation of solutions (e.g., configuration, setup, architecture diagrams).
- Work within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team.
- Provide effective knowledge transfer and upskilling to relevant customer personnel to ensure an appropriate level of future self-sufficiency.

Qualifications:
**What we are looking for on your resume...**
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, automation technology or equivalent work experience.
- Around 5+ years of experience with cloud architecture design and development.
- Preferably 3+ years of experience in Azure architecture including: Logic Apps, Functions, Serverless services, Synapse ELT, SQL, PowerShell, Azure Monitoring solutions, real-time streaming analytics.
- Strong experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft based production systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud, automation, and infrastructure and experience troubleshooting production solutions.
- Experience with Infor LN products.
- Self-starter, motivator, and ability to work within a Team and independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills utilizing both internal and external resources to get the job done.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues in a comprehensive and creative manner.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio.
