**Job Title**: Redis Database Administrator - L2

**Certification Preferred**: Redis DB Associate Database Administrator Certification

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage **Redis Enterprise database** environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations.
- Handle **patch management and version control** aligned with client security standards and technical specifications.
- Configure, monitor, and manage **database replication and clustering/DR environments**.
- Conduct and support **Disaster Recovery (DR) drills**; ensure database consistency and documentation.
- Monitor **database performance**, perform tuning activities, and ensure optimization and availability (99.99% uptime).
- Implement and maintain **database security policies**, including user/role management and access privileges.
- Conduct **daily health checks**, generate reports and dashboards for performance and system monitoring.
- Lead **backup and restoration activities**; validate data consistency across environments.
- Troubleshoot database issues, provide support to development teams, and perform root cause analysis as needed.
- Prepare and maintain **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** and technical documentation.
- Identify and implement **automation opportunities** to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Analyze database growth and forecast disk space requirements; generate growth reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to **service improvement initiatives** for increased productivity and cost efficiency.
- Provide **8x5 operational support** and be an integral part of the team’s database administration duties.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in **Redis DB administration**.
- Solid experience with **Linux**, **Kubernetes**, and **storage technologies**.
- Hands-on expertise in **backup, recovery**, and **database security strategies**.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and **problem-solving skills**.
- Excellent verbal and written **communication skills**.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a **team environment** and manage tasks independently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
