**Role Overview**:
As a Data Science Intern at Optimspace, you’ll be involved in the full data science lifecycle—from data collection and preparation to modeling and insight generation. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values curiosity, creativity, and impact.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data for analysis and modeling.
- Assist in building and deploying predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Conduct statistical analyses and create compelling data visualizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data efforts with business goals.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights through reports and presentations.
- Help optimize models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in data science and AI.
- Support ongoing data-driven initiatives and contribute to new solution development.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Solid foundation in statistical analysis, data modeling, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote, team-oriented environment.
