**Job Description - Resource Coordinator**

**Role Purpose**

The Resource Coordinator will act as the central point of contact at the Resource Centre. They will coordinate screening, maintain case records, guide families, and ensure timely referrals to the right facilities and professionals. The role requires strong organizational skills, communication, and the ability to liaise between families, specialists, and community resources.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Case Intake & Coordination**

Serve as the first point of contact for families approaching the Resource Centre.

Collect background information and register cases.

Schedule initial assessments with the Psychologist / Counsellor.

Maintain updated case files and ensure confidentiality.

**2. Referral Management**

Maintain an up-to-date **directory of referral facilities** (therapists, hospitals, schools, government schemes).

Guide families to appropriate services based on psychologist’s screening results.

Track referrals and follow up on progress with families.

**3. Networking & Partnerships**

Build and maintain partnerships with hospitals, therapy centres, schools, NGOs, and government offices.

Establish MOUs or informal referral arrangements where needed.

Liaise with community stakeholders to expand support options.

**4. Training & Awareness Support**

Assist in organizing staff training and community awareness workshops.

Maintain training schedules, materials, and attendance records.

Help coordinate awareness events for parents, teachers, and volunteers.

**5. Administration & Reporting**

Compile monthly and quarterly activity reports for the Board.

Maintain referral statistics, case outcomes, and feedback.

Ensure compliance with centre’s policies, safeguarding, and confidentiality guidelines.

**Qualifications & Skills**

**Essential**:
Graduate degree in **Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field**.

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in **case management, coordination, or social sector roles**

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage records, databases, and basic office tools (Excel, Word).

Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity in working with families.

**Desirable**:
Knowledge of autism and neurodiverse conditions.

Experience working with NGOs, special schools, or disability programs.

Familiarity with local government schemes for disability support.

**Key Attributes**

Team player who can work with psychologists, educators, and social workers.

**Employment Type**

Full-time, with periodic travel for networking and partnerships.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
